The water level controller has a 230 Volt output with precisely adjustable switch-on time.
This control system serves for water detection (as water alarm) and for limiting the water level, for example in a well, cellar, pond, aquarium or rainwater storage, made of metal, plastic or concrete.
Applications
Installation of the water sensor
The mounting height of the sensor determines the switching level of the water level control. The connection cable of the sensor may be extended up to 30 m with a 2-wire RJ45 data cable.
Alarm with time limitation.
As soon as the water level reaches the sensor, mains voltage becomes available at the built-in socket.
Into this you plug the plug of the pump, or a 230 Volt plug-in alarm (option). Control of an
external signal horn or flashing light is also possible.
The water level control can also directly control an
electric valve with 230 V.
Setting the pump run-down time
Using the two rotary knobs, you precisely set the shut-off delay (after-run time) of the pump - and thus the amount of water pumped out per switching cycle. This function prevents the pump from running dry.
No reset is required; the water can rise again until it hits the sensor again. After that, a new dry-pump cycle begins automatically.
Control can be turned on or off
By means of the switch on the front panel, the make contact changes to a break contact. Thus, it is also possible to turn a device OFF when the sensor detects water.
