Product description

Sensitive water sensor for line detection. The sensor consists of with 2 conductors in thin detection ribbon of hygroscopic material. This super sensitive line detector reacts to even a few drops of water. Very suitable for monitoring data centers and server rooms.

Applications

Customized line detection sensor
This ribbon for line detection can be shortened, lengthened or divided into segments. Each segment or zone requires its own water detector to quickly locate a leak. Water detection ribbon is connected via a 2-wire line to an Adjustable Water Detector (type NVP with wire break control) or a Water Alarm Unit with adjustable sensitivity.

Water detection in data centers
To be attached to (computer) floors using a thin strip of elastic mounting sealant. Application: only in areas that are bone dry under normal conditions, to prevent false alarms. This water detection ribbon can also be mounted (with ty-reps or glue) against the underside of pipes (see photo).
